The Easter We Got Jacked

We spent our evening dying 56 Easter eggs. 56, I tell you. That is a lot of dunking and drying. Nights filled with technicolor vision of eggs dancing in our dreams. The Easter bunny came in the night and hid all 56 eggs out in the front of the house. I was up at 12:30 pm and I my little girl was up by 8:00am to find the eggs. So there was a small window of time in which the following could occur:

We got jacked!

That morning as we searched for the hidden eggs, we came to realize that we only had 36 of the original 56 eggs. There was no half eaten eggs on the front lawn or cracked shells as if some small animal had gotten hungry for egg sandwich in the middle of the night. No evidence of the dissaperance, but plain and simple they were GONE.

Someone, had gone to the trouble to steal 20 Easter eggs in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning. This is no easy task to steal 20 eggs as you can't simple slip them into your pockets. One must have a carrying basket or shirt that you can fold into a holding container to haul away 20.

I leave my Jeep unlocked everynight where my CD player and other various items go untouched, but that Easter bunny best think twice next year when leaving eggs out in the lawn ... you just never can trust eggs available for the taking.
